KALTENBACH GmbH + Co. KG, founded in 1887 and has remained a family-run company. The company, with headquarters in Lörrach, Germany, is one of the leading manufacturers worldwide of machines for the processing of steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. A total of eight subsidiaries belong to the business group, at locations in the UK, France, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, , Singapore and as of January 2008, as well in Middle East. Furthermore, more than 520 employees and customer consultants in over 50 countries ensure accessible support services. A tight network of national and international service partners thereby guarantees the presence of a specialist on-site without delay.For years now, more than 50 international dealers have been distributing KALTENBACH products around the globe. The company owes its leading market position to its commitment to constant innovation as well as to the quality standards of its products.
Product and Service Portfolio
The KALTENBACH Company's product range includes, in addition to circular and band sawing machines, the most up-to-date systems for sectional steel processing, sheet metal processing centers, punching/shearing machines and shotblast- and painting-systems. These products are suited to the processing of steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals of the most diverse workpiece dimensions.
All machines produced by the company in southern Baden are subject to strict quality standards: When KALTENBACH introduced the quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001 in 1996, the company became the first and only manufacturer of sawing machines with ISO certification.
Over and above this, KALTENBACH offers its customers a comprehensive range of services from a single source - from quotation preparation to initial operation and training on site. Along with industry-specific application consulting, planning and idea generation, the customization of machines to individual customer requirements is part and parcel of the company's services. In the field of customer service, too, KALTENBACH sets the standards: Our replacement parts service sees to it that users can quickly get the spare parts they need, even after many years. Specialists, who offer first- as well as second-level support, are available worldwide at all times via a service hotline.
